A five-mile suspension bridge spanning “the straits” where Lakes Michigan and Huron meet; formerly “the gateway to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula,” now “the boundary to Wintermoon.” Suspension towers strung with lights; automated border gates; spike strips just past the Wintermoon end; closed during blizzards.
